Turn any Discord chat into a clean archive you can search, share and feed to AI.

Export a channel or DM to AI-ready text, CSV, JSON or a readable web page. It is grouped by day the way Discord shows it, with the images and files included. Nothing is uploaded, ever.

Why people export Discord chats

Your conversations are valuable. Keep them in a form you can actually use.

Scrolling back through thousands of messages is slow, and Discord has no “export” button. This does the scrolling and the tidying for you.

Summarize with AI

Paste a clean transcript into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and get decisions, action items and answers in minutes.

Back up a community

Keep a record of an announcement channel, a client project or a learning group before messages scroll out of reach.

Analyze in a spreadsheet

Open a CSV in Excel or Google Sheets and filter by day, person or topic. Every message has its date, time and number.

Share a readable record

Send a clean web page of the conversation to a teammate or client, with images included and no Discord account needed.

What you get

Everything you need, nothing you have to pay for.

Hands-free capture

The whole history, without scrolling a single message.

Pick “Full history”, a date range, or just what is on screen. The extension scrolls back through the channel for you and shows live progress.

  • Pause or stop and save at any moment
  • Messages are saved as they are captured, so an interruption never loses your work
  • It confirms when it has reached the very start of the channel

Organized like Discord

Day by day, with the exact time of every message.

Messages sit under day headings, with replies, reactions and attachments kept with the message they belong to. Pick a day and see exactly what happened then.

  • Filter to one exact day, or search by author and words
  • Choose any time zone: the exact UTC time is always kept as well
  • Preview everything before you download

Formats that work everywhere

Clean data that AI tools and spreadsheets understand.

Pick the format that fits what you are doing. Every format uses the same structure, so the numbers always match.

Images and files too

Not just links: the real pictures and PDFs, in one ZIP.

Choose “Download everything” and you get the chat and every image and file in a single ZIP. Open the HTML version and the original images show, even offline.

  • Files are named by date and message so nothing overwrites anything
  • Anything that could not be saved is listed in a report, with the reason
  • Discord’s links expire after about a day, so it saves them right after capture

How it works

Three steps. About a minute of your time.

  1. Open the chat in Chrome

Go to discord.com in Chrome and open the channel or direct message you want. You choose what to export; the extension only reads what you have open.

  2. Choose how much and what format

Click the extension icon. Pick full history, a date range or what is visible, then a format. The first time, you read and agree to a short plain-language privacy notice.

  3. Download

Watch the progress, then download the chat, or the chat plus its images and files, from your private workspace. Done.

The short privacy notice shown the first time you use the extension, with I understand and agree and No thanks buttons

You approve before anything is read.

The first time you open the extension it explains in plain words what it reads, why, and where it goes. Nothing is read or saved until you agree, and you can say no.

Private by design

Your conversations never leave your computer.

There is no server behind this extension. Everything happens inside your browser, and what you capture is saved only there.

On your device only

Chats are processed and stored in your own browser. We never receive them.

No account, no tracking

No sign-up, no ads, no analytics, and your Discord password or token is never read.

You stay in control

Nothing is read until you agree. Delete one conversation, or everything, any time.

AI only if you choose

It never talks to an AI service. You decide whether to paste an export anywhere.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no message limit and no account. If that ever changes, it will be clearly stated on this page and in the store listing before it does.

Is my chat uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is read, processed and saved inside your own browser. The extension has no server and sends nothing to us. The only optional network step is downloading attachments straight from Discord’s file servers to your device, after you ask and after Chrome asks your permission. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Will Discord ban my account?

It only reads what Discord already shows in your open tab, at a gentle pace, and it never uses your token or Discord’s private interfaces. Even so, Discord’s terms restrict automated tools, so we can’t promise it is risk-free. Use it on your own account, only for conversations you are allowed to export, and at your own risk.

Does it work for private servers and DMs?

It works on any channel or DM you can open in Discord in Chrome. Only export conversations you are permitted to export, and respect the privacy of the other people in them.

Does it work in the Discord desktop app?

No. It runs in Google Chrome on the Discord website (discord.com). Open Discord in a Chrome tab.

What is not exported?

Stickers, polls and system messages have no readable text, so they are counted and reported but not included. Deleted or inaccessible messages can’t be recovered. Very large histories and attachment collections may need smaller date ranges or several exports.

What about the images and files in a chat?

Choose “Download everything” to get the chat and its files in one ZIP. Discord’s file links expire after about a day, so do it soon after capturing. Anything that can’t be saved is listed in a report.

How do I delete what the extension saved?

In the workspace, use the trash icon next to a conversation, or Settings → Delete all local data. Removing the extension from Chrome also removes its saved data. Files you already downloaded stay where you saved them.
